Gorozika

Gorozika is a hamlet of farmhouses located in a lonely place halfway up a slope, where the buildings huddle together. The hamlet probably can be traced back to medieval times, although the oldest buildings were constructed in the 15th century. The Antzone and Gozizko farmhouses are from that period, as well as the hermitage of Saint John. They both preserve Gothic doorways on their back walls.

The group of farmhouses is very uniform, although each building was renovated or repaired at different periods. The Bizkua farmhouse is another valuable sample, with its 18th century porch supported by two ashlar arches
