The San Juan hermitage

Built towards the end of the 15th century. The only statue inside the hermitage is of Saint John the Baptist, brought from the San Juan Hermitage in Ondarroa. The hermitage´s most popular event takes place on June 24, when bouquets of flowers are blessed. Bonfires are lit on the eve of the festivity of San Juan, accompanied by bertsos and songs.

Likewise, there are two other traditions. The first one takes place when children are brought to the Saint so they will sleep well. The second is to apply holy water to warts on three consecutive Fridays, while reciting "Hail Mary" three times to make the warts dissappear.
